Prairie Lane Stables offers large dry lots with individual shelters and waterers which can accomodate one or more horses.  This fee includes grain and hay feedings twice a day.  If more than one horse is placed in a lot, then monthly board will be discounted accordingly.

Amenities include:  a lighted indoor arena, large outdoor arena, wash stall, separate grain and hay stalls, sick stall and a mare/foal stall area. 

Charge:  $235.00 per month per horse

Do you have a colt that doesn't have manners?  Let us help.  We will take a colt under the age of two and teach ground manners - lunging, leading, standing for the vet or farrier, clipping, bathing and general respect for humans.  It will be ready for formal training in no time.  Safety for the horse and handler is paramount. 

Charge:  $400.00 (includes monthly boarding fees)

Allow us the opportunity to start your horse correctly with natural horsemanship to build a solid, confident riding partner.  Each colt  will be sacked out and at the end of 30 days, most colts will be able to walk, trot, lope, stop and back. 

Charge:  $550 per month (includes boarding fees)

Do you have a horse that needs a little extra time on it before hitting the trails?  Are you pregnant and unable to ride because the doctor says so, but want to keep your horse in shape?  Call us - we will arrange a training program for your horse.   

Charge:  Charge based on time involved

Let us throw a birthday party for your little cowboy or cowgirl.  We'll provide the pony - you provide the cowboys and cowgirls either at our stable or at your residence.

Charge:  $75 per hour plus mileage

We provide lessons and classes on horse safety, handling and Western riding.  The lessons will be tailored to accomodate the student and parents as much as possible.  Each student must learn how to be safe around a horse and generally take care of the horse as though it was their own.

Individual Lessons:  $30 per hour

Group Lessons:  $25 per hour
